ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS collects and processes personal data when you subscribe to one of our travel and experience offers.
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data and ensure compliance with privacy and data processing regulations.
We commit to abide by the principles of the European Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective since May 25, 2018:
1. Ensure transparency, fairness, and legality in the processing and use of personal data.
2. Limit the processing of personal data for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes.
3. Minimize the collection and storage of personal data based on the purpose of processing.
4. Ensure the accuracy of personal data and allow their erasure or rectification.
5. Limit the retention of personal data.

We provide our data privacy policy below so that you can be fully informed about the processing carried out and provide your data with full knowledge before the conclusion of the contract.
**I/ WHAT DATA IS CONCERNED?**
Data is considered personal when it relates to identified or identifiable individuals.
Certain personal information is required to execute the reserved stay. ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS may collect personal data of travelers, including but not limited to: name, first name, date and place of birth, nationality, passport number, postal address, email address, phone number, travel preferences, marital status, credit card number.
This collection includes data for all travelers listed on the booking confirmation (registration form). You are responsible for obtaining the consent of all individuals listed on the contract.
**II/ WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF THE COLLECTED DATA?**
The data collected and processed by ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS is used for:
- Booking the stay and the proper execution of reserved travel services.
- Obtaining residence permits (visas, etc.).
- Managing the accounting and financial aspects of orders (billing, payment).
- Accessing and using the customer area.
- Monitoring customer relationships and optimizing services (sending newsletters, satisfaction surveys, managing loyalty programs, etc.).
- Targeted advertising by ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS through social media or newsletters/SMS (only for clients who have agreed to participate in ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS marketing campaigns).
- Conducting analysis, statistics, and reporting operations.
Your consent is a necessary precondition for the formation of the sales contract. Your reservation cannot be validated if you oppose the retention and transmission of your personal data (name, first name, address, passport number, etc.) to our providers involved in the organization of your trip.
**III/ WHO MAY ACCESS THE DATA?**
ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS is the data controller of your personal data.
Data collected by ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS may be stored, processed, and transferred to:
- Employees of ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS whose involvement is required for the performance of services or customer relationship management.
- Suppliers performing the reserved travel services (tour operators, hotels, airlines, railways, car rental agencies, local receptive agencies, etc.). These suppliers are subject to compliance with applicable laws and will process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies. Please consult their data policies available on their websites, if applicable.
- Subcontractors appointed by ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS (Back-office, GDS, technical providers, etc.). These providers are subject to compliance with applicable laws. They act on instructions from ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS and may not use the data for purposes other than those mentioned in Article 2.
- The cooperative group CEDIV TRAVEL, of which ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS is a member, for certain purposes mentioned in point 2, including statistics, analysis, business operations, and marketing.
Each of the parties involved in processing data on behalf of ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS provides sufficient guarantees to meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
Personal data will not be transferred to third parties not involved in data processing for the purposes described herein.
Personal data will not be transferred to providers located outside the European Union unless the reserved travel service is destined for a country outside the European Union, and the proper execution of the trip requires data transfer to that local provider outside the EU.
When ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS communicates data to a provider outside the EU (in case of a client's reservation for a trip or tourist service(s) outside the EU), it ensures that this provider complies with appropriate and adequate protection measures.
**IV/ SECURITY**
ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS is committed to protecting personal data by implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent data from being distorted, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized third parties.
"It commits to ensuring that this protection is provided by anyone who may process personal data for the purposes described below.

In the event of a security breach resulting in accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS shall notify the data breach to all data controllers to the CNIL within 72 hours, as well as to the data subject if there is a high risk to their personal data.

V/ DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Your data is retained from the date of booking the trip and for a period of 3 years from the end of the trip.

VI/ YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, object to, and port your data to ALTANEVA DMC & EVENTS / ALTAREIS, which will respond within the shortest time and no later than 30 days.

This period may exceptionally be extended by 2 months in case of specific and justified reasons.
You can also request a limitation of the processing of collected data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
